Packaging Redesign

Digital Twin Identity Packaging
Overview

Identified an existing pain point with the packaging of Little Trees air fresheners, proposed a solution by integrating tear tape at intervals along the tree allowing the user to unwrap sections of the tree, increasing the longevity of the effectiveness of the air freshener.

Modernized the iconic logo and packaging to include scent-specific landscapes, unified graphic textures of the air freshener itself, and created advertisements using digital twin mockups through Adobe Firefly.

Process
01
Research

Explored variety of packaging concepts to find a precedent that I could improve. I found the "proper" way to unwrap the air freshener to be much more effective but a bad user experience.

02
Sketching and Synthesis

Worked through early ideas for both the identity rebrand and the packaging solution, settled on a concept that improves effectiveness conveniently while using less plastic.

03
Refinement and Presentation

Created mock advertisements with Adobe Firefly and assembled a pitch deck to showcase my redesign.
