ROOT APP
Urban Mobility
Designed and prototyped an app for the improvement of urban mobility through the lens of sustainability. Worked with three peers to develop ROOT: A game that gets you moving. Users collect pot and vase characters, decorative plants, and accessories by electing to use sustainable transportation methods.
Through gamification, our team proposed a sustainable transportation solution that would appeal to modern audiences across ages. View the prototype in the adjacent window to see the extent of the functionality implemented through figma alone.
Conducted a survey to collect real-world data on mobility based games. Worked with my three teammates to come up with the ROOT concept, sketched a logo and first character, built out wireframes for home screen and basic pages.
Divided tasks to further build out the app, the extensive character and home page customization options, and the overall identity. My main tasks were to create all of the vector assets and their variations, the character customization screen, and the home screen customization.
Utilized Figma's prototyping capabilities to connect functional buttons, create dynamic animations, and build out fully functional character and home page customization screens.
